Tips for outings

The surroundings of our facility offer many interesting places for day trips and many other activities that make visiting us worthwhile.

If you come at the right time you might experience many other interesting events like Porcinkule in Hostinné, beer festivals, markets and others.

You can spend a longer time in the Krkonoš Mountains or just experience a weekend mountain getaway. Liščí Farma is also the right place for a family vacation!

We have a wide range of outings to see historic monuments and other tourist spots. For example, we arrange outings to Prague; the Bozkovský caves, tours of the Harrachov glassworks, outings to historic sites, and visits to the ZOO in Dvoře Králové nad Labem, outings to castles and other places.

Vrchlabí

Closest to us is the mountain town of Vrchlabí (2 km). Here you can visit:

The town hall – A baroque building from 1732. The clock on the town hall tower bears the Latin inscription ULTIMA LATET (The final hour of life is unknown).

Monastery and church – The baroque building (1705 - 1725) by A.M. Auera built together with the church forms a unique architectural unit. The monastery serves as a permanent exhibition for the Krkonoš museum called "Stone and Life ".

Regional information center – A newly opened information center where qualified employees gladly answer any kind of question concerning the history of the Krkonoš Mountains and their environs. You will receive interesting materials and much information and you will certainly not leave without a souvenir that will continue to remind you of your vacation.

Look out tower Žalý

Situated between Benecko and Vrchlabí (10 km from us) is a forested peak on top of which there is an 18 meter stone tower. The tower was the work of count Jan Harrach in 1892. The tower presents an unforgettable vista of faraway corners of the republic. You can, for example, see Ještěd, Trosky and the peaks of the Orlický Mountains.

Pec pod Sněžkou (35 km) - cable car to our highest mountain, Sněžka.

Jánské Lázně (16 km) - cable care to Černa Hora, spa colonnade, beautiful environment.

Jilemnice (10 km) - palace exhibition with nativity scene.

Liberec (70 km) - Babylon center – the largest entertainment complex - Wellness center, Water park, Iq park, Lunapark, Labyrinth.

Bozkov (30 km) - stalactite caves – unique stalactite decor with the largest underground lake in the Czech Republic.

ZOO Dvůr Králové nad Labem (35 km) - SAFARI into the largest collection of African animals in Europe, you get close enough to almost touch the animals.

Adršpach (50 km) - sandstone cliff city with a boat tour.

Harrachov (38 km) - glass museum – history of glass making since 1712, possibility of excursion to glass furnaces and glass grinding workshop in a historic grinding shop.
