Finally, the snow is here! And a lot!
Finally the right winter is here. We missed the snow during Christmas and now is here.
It is a lot of snow everywhere, it glitters and cracks under my feet. I live in Giant Mountains already 14 years and i don´t like winter so much, but now is wonderful!
I was already skiing, after about 2 years pause, so you can imagine, how it looked around.
In the beginning it was really a disaster, but now it is better.
It is a short way for me to the slope, i travel from Liščí farm free by skibus. The skibus drives here from us direct to the slope. The slope is great, not too demanding, prepared and suitable for absolute beginners. Maybe i will try skiareal Herlíkovice soon, there are two quad chair lifts and 8 normal lifts, so there i probably choose the right slope for me.
I thought also about the cross-country skiing, the weather is beautiful and it has yet to endure a few days. Maybe i will take my dog and we will go out, there is many kilometers of good lines in the mountains.
Perhaps i will take few days holidays from my job to catch all i want.
In January is always here in the mountains the lower number of guests, and I never know why. Skiing is absolutely without any queues on the great snow full of sun. Also during weekends the slops are not full of guests. Neither in our areal is not full now and i really don´t know what to do with it. Would you come?
