New Year´s Eve with fireworks
And here we are - new year!
Everyone´s asking how it will be? Will it be better than last year, which we just said "Bye-bye" to?
Come to have a look with me how we spent end of last year here at Liščí farma in Giant mountains - concentrate, we are beginning ...
New Year´s Eve was thunderous again, but is should be so! Am I right? We began with fully layed table - you must fill your tummy first up, before you send in one snifter or glass of wine. On the buffet was everything you could think of - meat, goulash, side dishes, different kind of salads, cheese and salami variations and something sweet, too. I always admire your chef´s amazing fantasy.
All evening played duo Dolce Vita , singers, who come to us regularly and are guarantee of good entertainment. They can play totally everything and can you imagine they sing maybe in 6 languages?!
Tradition on New Year´s Eve evening at Liščí farma is a raffle. Everybody was watching with suspense the draw and was hoping I´ll be taking out of the hat their number. We are choosing the prices, that they have something to do with New Year´s Eve evening - that are bottles of excellent beverage with brand name glasses, voucher into our restaurant and also beautiful books about our area. The first price is always one week accommodation voucher for 2 persons in our Holiday park.
The midnight is here! Our fireworks, operated by Mr. Dufek himself (that´s the owner), was intentional few minutes late. That was why, so everybody could launch their fireworks first and than enjoy better our colored creations. There was cold outsider, so we wished everyone all the best into the new year and quickly came back into cosy and warm restaurant and continued in celebrations.
We finished or else tired at 4 o´clok in the morning, but safisfied. And first January morning? Was grim, trust me ...
We wish every your jurneys in Year 2009 was always right ended.
